The project is concerned with Safety and Security for modern connected factory automation. "ROBOSHIELD" is focused primarily on physical safety of human operators, for example in the case of human-robot-collaboration, whereas the related project "CyberProtect", which was presented by employees of Forschungszentrum Informatik (FZI), is focused on IT-Security. The goal of both projects is to improve safety and security of production facilities, especially in small- and medium-sized enterprises, by providing tools and technology offerings.
Hightech Summit Baden-Württemberg is a forum for enterprises and public institutions to exchange experience regarding new technologies such as AI, Blockchain and connected systems. It is organized by the initiative "Wirtschaft Digital Baden Württemberg ("Digital economy Baden Württemberg")".
The next presentation of the Projects "ROBOSHIELD" and "CyberProtect" will take place during their Open-Lab Day on November 14th, 2019, at FZI in Karlsruhe. More information and registration on www.roboshield-bw.de (Webpage in German language).
