Dr. Christoph Ledermann at “Cybersicherheit im Mittelstand: Protecting Our Economies”

On February 26th, 2019, the representational office of Baden-Württemberg in Berlin and the American Embassy jointly hosted the event "Cybersicherheit im Mittelstand: Protecting Our Economies".

Representing IPR, Dr. Christoph Ledermann gave a presentation titled “IT-Sicherheit und physische Unversehrtheit in der Produktion - RoboShield und CyberProtect", in which he introduced the projects RoboShield and CyberProtect.

Dr. Christoph Ledermann presented topics of the projects RoboShield and CyberProtect.

Additional talks have been given by Dr. Michael Ebner, Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG, Reinhard Tencz of the Ministry of the Interior, Digitalization and Migration of Baden-Württemberg, and Casey R. Harrington, Assistant Legal Attaché at the FBI.

After the presentations, the speakers replied to questions of the audience.

Afterwards, the speakers and the audition discussed methods and problems for ensuring security for the German industry and people.
