Career

Nicolas Gorges received the diploma in computer science with majors in robotics from Bielefeld University in April 2004. From July 2003 to April 2004, he visited the Center for Vision, Speech, and Signal Processing at University of Surrey, UK. Subsequently, he worked in the Applied Computer Science group at the Bielefeld University as a research scientist and has been associated with the european research project VAMPIRE. In June 2005, he joined the Institute for Process Control and Robotics, Universität Karlsruhe(TH) as a research scientist and is member of the research group "Humanoid Robots" within the German Humanoid Robot Project (SFB 588).
