The project is funded in the programm of the BMWi "Förderung der Erhöhung der Innovationskompetenz mittelständischer Unternehmen" Pro Inno II.

In the project „Pro Inno II: Haptic Analysis“ research has been conducted on a device for haptic analysis in cooperation with the industry partner GAS Automation. At the IPR psychophysical models for the transfer of human tactile perception into technical methods and algorithms have been investigated and developed. The main focus was the objectification of parameters perceived during human interaction with haptic interfaces. A complete framework for the analysis of haptic properties has been developed and a technical test device for testing switches in an industrial environment has been realized.
