Journalists from the Peoples´Republic China at IAR-IPR
On April 19, our institute opened ist labs for a group of 7 journalists of the South-China Daily News. They were traveling through Germany in odrder to get an overview on robotics and industry 4.0. The guests were accompanied by two representatives of a consulting company, a translator and the press officer of KIT, Mister Nils Ehrenberg.
Dr. Raczkowsky welcomed the guests in the institutes` seminar room and introduced the research work of IAR-IPR.
Mister Oliver Schmidt explained the structure of KIT and the new umbrella strategy.
Dr. Raczkowsky guided the guests through the institutes`labs.
Christian Kunz presented research in the area of Human-Machine-Cooperation (Project AMIKA)
Yingbing Hua and David Puljiz explained the actual results of the project ReApp.
Hosam Alagi introduced IAR-IPRs` research work in the area of tactile proximity sensors.
Zhenping Sun supported by translation of technical terms into Chinese.
Jessica Hutzl showed the research topics of IAR-IPRs Medical Robotics Group.
