IAR-IPR attending MeMeA in Lissabon
At the „IEEE International Symposium on Medical Measurements and Applications (MeMea 2014 )“, IAR-IPR was represented with two scientific researchers.
Jan Hergenhan presented his results of the prototype of the haptic display, which shall be used for haptic feedback in telemanipulated robot assisted surgery („Prototype of a Haptic Display for the Evaluation of Sensible Haptic Feedback in Remote Palpation“).
Christoph Ledermann gave a presentation about his work on the prototype of the tactile sensor on FBG-basis intended for tumor detection („Biomimetic Tactile Sensor Based on Fiber Bragg Gratings for Tumor Detection – Prototype and Results“).
