Completion of the FabOS project

On July 25th Christoph Ledermann and Patrick Schlosser participated in the in final event of the BMWK project FabOS.

The project aimed at creating a open, distributed and real-time capable system for operating production.

During the event, the core results of IPR achieved during the project were presented: A concept for safety in distributed system, based on device capabilities, implemented for a bin-picking application, as well as a software library for connecting ROS components with FabOS.
