Two Papers at IROS 2023 in Detroit

The IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS) 2023 was held from October 1 - 5, 2023 in Detroit (Michigan, USA).

Woo-Jeong Baek and Patrick Schlosser participated at the conference with one paper each, including oral and poster presentations, and attended the conference together with Institute Director Prof. Tamim Asfour.

Ms. Baek presented her research results on the topic: "Combining Measurement Uncertainties with the Probabilistic Robustness for Safety Evaluation of Robot Systems" (Authors: Woo-Jeong Baek, Christoph Ledermann, Tamim Asfour, Torsten Kroeger).

In the talk "Upper Bounds for Localization Errors in 2D Human Pose Estimation" (authors: Patrick Schlosser, Christoph Ledermann, Tamim Asfour) Patrick Schlosser reported on his recent research results.

It was also possible to get-together with the former director of the institute Dr.-Ing. Torsten Kröger.
